How do I find what I am looking for on your site?

  • You can type the title, ISBN, or author's name into the search box in the left menu, and hit enter.
  • The other option is to browse through the items in our store, by using the categories in the menu along the left side.

What if I forget my password?

If you forget your password simply go to the login page, click on “Forgot my password”, and enter your email address. A new password will be emailed to you.

What payment methods do you accept?

Parenting Connections Australia accepts payment via PayPal, credit card (Visa and Mastercard), and Direct Deposit.

What is PayPal?

PayPal is a free online service which enables you to pay for online transactions. When you create a password protected account with PayPal, you can enter your bank details, credit and debit card numbers into the account. When you make online purchases from merchants who offer PayPal as a payment option, you will automatically be guided to sign into PayPal, and select the account you wish to use for payment. This also means that you don't have to type in your payment details every time you make an online transaction. According to PayPal the service helps prevent fraud and offers protection against unauthorised transactions; and PayPal offers Buyer Protection in case your item does not arrive or is significantly different to described. Is GST included in the sales price?

All prices for orders within Australia will include GST. For international orders, GST will not be applied. Please contact Parenting Connections Australia to enquire about international orders.

Do you offer student discounts?

Because Parenting Connections Australia is committed to keeping prices as competitive as possible we do not offer any additional discounts. We may offer sales promotions from time to time.

Can I collect my order in person?

Our customers have the option of collecting their purchases from our clinical psychology practice Southside Health & Wellbeing, 12 The Avenue Hurstville NSW 2220.

How do I make a direct deposit?

Funds for orders can be transferred electronically or by visiting an NAB branch to the following account:

Be sure to insert your order number and/or Surname in the description field so that we can match your payment to your order. Orders will not be shipped until funds are received.

What if I deposit payment in the wrong account?

In instances where a Customer deposits payment to an incorrect bank account number Parenting Connections Australia and the correct number was provided to the Customer by Parenting Connections Australia, we will not accept any responsibility for correcting payment and the goods will not be dispatched until payment is received.

Can I send cash payment in the post?

Parenting Connections Australia does not accept cash payment by post nor will we accept responsibility for the theft, loss or otherwise non-delivery of mailed cash.

What does shipping cost?

We have a flat rate for $7.95 per order, Australia wide. If you are from outside of Australia, please contact us for a shipping estimate.

How long does shipping take?

Every effort will be made to ensure delivery timeframes provided on the site are accurate. We endeavour to dispatch all orders for products which are in stock within twenty four hours.
  • Packages sent by Standard Post may take 1-5 working days from dispatch.
  • Packages sent by Express Post generally arrive within 1-2 working days of dispatch.
  • Larger packages can be sent by courier on request.

Do you offer international shipping?

International shipping is determined on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us to discuss your request.

Will items be shipped separately if all items are not in stock?

Unless otherwise instructed by the Customer, items will be held in stock until your order is complete.

What happens if the item I ordered is not in stock?

Parenting Connections Australia does not stock all products listed on this site. Certain products are sourced through third party suppliers. Information regarding the availability of products will be displayed with the details of each product as accurately as possible. If you order an item which is not in stock, delivery will usually take 7-10 working days.

How do I track my order?

If you have created an account on the Parenting Connections Australia website, you can log into your account to track the status of your order. Alternatively, you can contact us to enquire about the status of your order.

What happens if I give the wrong address? 

Parenting Connections Australia will not be responsible for the re-delivery, replacement or refunding of any product mistakenly addressed by Parenting Connections Australia if the Customer has provided incorrect or insufficient address details. In this case all responsibility for correcting delivery information will be borne by the Customer. If a product is found to be mis-addressed by Parenting Connections Australia then we shall be responsible for the re-delivery, replacement or refunding of the product.

Can I cancel my order?

Because Parenting Connections Australia will endeavour to process and dispatch your order immediately, cancellations will need to be immediate. If your order cancellation is received by telephone or email within an hour of completing your transaction but, not later than 4pm on the day, you may cancel your order.  Once your order has been shipped we will not cancel the order.

Do you offer exchanges and returns? Can I get a refund?

Parenting Connections Australia provides refund of product price or exchange, depending on customer preference, for all defective or shipped in error items. Items that are shipped in error must be reported to Parenting Connections Australia within 5 working days of receipt of the shipment. Defective product (pages/chapters missing; pages printed upside down, etc.) may be reported at any time. Customer Service will require the following information in order to determine the disposition of the goods: 
  • Your order number
  • Title
  • Type of damage / problem 
If you change your mind about the order and wish to make a return or exchange after the order has been shipped, you must notify Parenting Connections Australia of your wish for an exchange or refund within 21 days of placing the order. You must not unpack the goods, and must return the goods to Parenting Connections Australia at your own risk and cost. If you have asked for an exchange your new goods will be shipped at your cost. If you have asked for a refund, a full refund of the product price (excluding shipping costs) will be issued within 30 business days, provided the aforementioned terms are met. Parenting Connections Australia cannot take responsibility for packages damaged in the post. Any other refunds will be given at the discretion of Parenting Connections Australia upon the receipt of an email specifying the nature of the request.

How long is my gift voucher valid for?

Gift vouchers are valid for 2 years from the date of purchase. After that date they cannot be used in any transactions and any credit will be non-refundable.  If purchasing products as an intended gift and you want the invoice sent to a different address to that of the goods, please contact us or include in the "Comments" field.

How long is my promotional code valid for?

If you are using a promotional code the expiry date will be listed with the code on the promotional material where the code is advertised. Please contact us if you are unsure about the promotional code you have received.
